VOIVOD – Announce “Post Society - EP” release, US tourdates!
Canadian progressive sci-fi metal innovators VOIVOD, who recently toured Europe as part of the “Deathcrusher 2015” tour alongside Carcass, Obituary and Napalm Death, are pleased to announce the release of the “Post Society - EP” Mini-CD. This special release will be available in Digipak CD format as well as Digital Download on February 26th, 2016 via Century Media Records.
The “Post Society - EP”, with artwork by VOIVOD drummer Michel “Away” Langevin, contains 5 studio tracks, including the previously vinyl-only new VOIVOD songs from the split 7” EP’s with label-mates At The Gates and Napalm Death, two brand new songs and a Hawkwind cover (“Silver Machine”) total playing time of 30 minutes. Here is the track-listing:

VOIVOD - New album details

Currently celebrating their 35th band-anniversary, Canadian progressive sci-fi metal innovators VOIVOD are pleased to announce a release date of September 21st, 2018 for their upcoming new studio album “The Wake” via Century Media Records worldwide.

“The Wake”, the highly anticipated successor to 2013’s “Target Earth” album as well as the 2016 mini-album “Post Society”, was recorded and mixed by Francis Perron at RadicArt Recording Studio in Canada. The album‘s artwork was once again created by VOIVOD drummer Michel “Away” Langevin and can be seen above.

VOIVOD guitarist and songwriter Daniel “Chewy“ Mongrain" checked in with the following comment about the upcoming release: "It is with great enthusiasm and pride that we will soon share with you the fruit of 2 years of labour in the form of an intricate, intense and colourful journey with our new album "The Wake", expanding the boundaries of VOIVOD’s multiverse!"

The album’s track-listing reads as follows:
